My Inference.
A good friend of mine and I were having a heart-to-heart conversation the other day. She was talking to me about what was bothering her, and I was doing what I thought would help the most, listening to her talk. Of course, the whole conversation took place via email, so we weren't exactly talking but a heart-to-heart conversation doesn't necessarily need voices and physical proximity to convey the message. A good worded email would help just the same.
Hello there, I am the Earthian.
She told me about a lot of things, things like what was happening in her life, like what predicament she was stuck in with her best friends. But amidst all of this, she told me something really beautiful and extremely powerful. She told me, as she thought about her situations, she realized that it wasn't her fault or her best friends' fault that she was in the position she was in and that she was not disappointed in either of them, she was disappointed in the cards that life dealt her with. And that really struck a chord in me. I took a few seconds to process what she told me, and as I realized a few seconds wouldn't be enough, I took a few minutes and then proceeded to take a few hours and then finally, after a couple of days of analyzing and trying to understand it, got it.
It's no surprise that life deals with us the way it does. Things just keep happening and whether we like it or not, we are in for a wild ride. We try to plan too much about life, it says "stop right there, I'm going to screw everything up", and there just isn't anything that we can do about it. Life is life and sometimes, us trying to blame ourselves or another person, or a whole group of people or even the whole universe is just not going to work. It's all pointless. Nobody is going to feel better blaming or taking blames. It just is all going to bring in a negative attitude towards people or towards life itself and that is proof that life is winning over us. Take things lightly and move forward with all your might and you just might find life being a whole lot more careful with you, for now, instead of succumbing to it like it wants you to, you've owned who you are, your situations and everything life has for you and you've made it your friend. Of course, this is all just the inference I got from the conversation I had with my friend, I might even have exaggerated but hey, anything for a little positivity.
With a heart full of love, peace out.
