Challenges.
A lot of things get me excited; spending time with people I adore, listening to my favourite songs out loud, eating a hearty bowl of ice-cream, staring and turning the pages of my favourite books, to just name a few. But something that really gets me going is a good old challenge.
Hello there, I am the Earthian.
A challenge in the field I feel like I'm actually competent in, just to get the ball rolling. And more than the challenge, the challenger. There is absolutely nothing better than having someone who can test you out, swim with you in what you think is your own territory and even put you under threat and school you when you get a little too arrogant for your own good. And because I don't have it in me to share what I am competent in with the world, I end up being my own biggest challenge. My goals become my biggest challengers.
The good thing about being your own challenge is that you will taste the glory of sweet victory and the sorrow of bitter defeat all the same. You win, you will believe that you hadn't set your standards high enough. You lose, you have something to prove to yourself. And when you do prove that something to yourself, you raise the bar just a teeny bit higher and start the whole cycle all over again. The degree of your own challenge, the caliber of the talent you posses and everything along these lines has the potential to improve always. I know it sounds too cliche, but there really isn't an acme to what you can achieve. And the more you start being under challenges, the more opportunity you will get to introspect. And with every introspection, you will build yourself to reach just a block higher than you've ever seen yourself reach before.
Lots of love, peace.
