Perfection.
The difference between someone who says "I'm human and I make mistakes, deal with it, accept me for who I am", and someone who says "I'm human, I try not to make mistakes but I end up making mistakes, I'm still learning", is simple. One of them wants the world to change to their needs to accommodate them, and the other wants to learn and grow and try to accommodate themselves in the world. To change yourself for someone else isn't ever wise. But to change yourself because you understand that there is room for improvement and that there is no point in you being adamant for that will never improve you, is a game changer. I'm not asking you to be like a chameleon trying to fit in everywhere and being manipulative. I'm asking you to understand that you not being perfect should be no reason for you to not improve yourself. If your answer or your line of thought is along the lines of the first statement, well, rethink your choices.
Love, peace.
An Earthian.
