Our Wings.

A lot of us are extremely self centered. And it's not even because we're selfish and egotistical, but simply because of the fact that we don't try to put ourselves in others'shoes enough. We don't try to understand the life and pain others have had to endure, we don't understand that everyone has a story to tell, just like ourselves, and that their stories are just as relevant as yours for the lessons don't have to always be learned from experience. It is not just a good idea, but a great one to try to picture ourselves in others' shoes. Life would all of a sudden be a lot simpler, a lot more appreciable, a lot kinder. Because you will feel the pain what others have gone through, what every single human being goes through, what every speck of life goes through. A saint once said that every time he passed by a rotting plant, he rotted with it. That's the kind of oneness we can feel with this planet, with this universe, with life itself, when we choose to spread our wings.

Love, peace.
An Earthian.
