Belief System.

I guess sometimes people find it amusing to just prey on someone's hope. I mean, its like they love just destroying anyone with a little bit of hope of something happening, purely because apparently, they're keeping it real.

You want to know what keeping it real is? Its acknowledging the fact that we just don't know what the future holds for us even if all of the circumstances point towards a certain point. Yes, sometimes, our anticipations turn out to be right, sometimes, most times, our logical answers turn out to be right, but that is no excuse to take away someone else's joy that they harvest out of hope.

Sure, in your mind, you think of it as doing someone a favour, bringing someone to wherever you are,  but are you? Because all you're doing is wiping away their reasons to smile. Sure, being right matters, but it doesn't quite matter as much as you think it does. Sometimes, being free to hope and the thought that there might be some light somewhere when stuck in a deep dark cave is all that matters. You just don't get to decide what's right for people and what isn't. You really don't, especially when someone's beliefs don't concern you.
