A Good Start.

We all start off well. I mean, those of us who actually try. We start off well with our dreams and goals and we fire on all of our cylinders and then somewhere along the way, we just stop. We stop firing on all of them and just keep a couple on and the rest of them off, without even realizing.

Hello there, I am the Earthian.

This, oftentimes, happens when we experience some success in whatever was our original goal. Sure, some success is a big deal and is something to be celebrated but the question is, is that what we were after in the first place? Some success? Really? And because of this some success, we think its okay to slow down, maybe even take a short break. After-all, we've worked really hard to get to this point, haven't we? Its only natural to want some rest, its only natural to get a little fatigued and resting up is indeed the logical right choice. So we rest up. And then we stay resting up for a little longer and then some. Soon though, we realize we have been resting up a tad too long so we start working again. But something doesn't feel the same way it used to feel. Something has changed. We just no longer know what it is like to fire on all of our of cylinders. We convince ourselves we are doing the best when we are barely a speck of dust of the person we used to be. And we get okay with that. We start off well with point A in our minds, we reach point B which is somewhere along the way to A and we settle there at B because, well, because it feels nice and we just don't want to admit that. Its like settling for the starters when our original idea was to get to dessert. But its okay, if you're okay with it. After-all, point B isn't a bad place at all, just not your original destination. But if you're not okay with it, this is just something to ponder about.

Lots of love, peace.
