Little Curiousities.
I'm curious about a lot of things. Things like why everything that's happening around us is happening, why is it that we fail to follow what's a very simple solution, why is it that we keep repeating the same mistakes with hopes of getting different results, why is it that we wait for something miraculous to happen and be fixated upon believing something that will always be only fictitious. I mean, I'm not suggesting fictitious things aren't good enough, but why can't we just take it for what it is instead of hoping something like that would happen in reality?
Hello there, I'm the Earthian.
And everywhere I say "we" in the above lines, I'm simply restricting myself to those of us who do actually do it and I'm in no way generalising what are simply my personal opinions. I know I don't need to say this every single time I make a statement that isn't diplomatic but sometimes, these help.
Anyway, before I get lost, I guess sometimes, we value things more than we value ourselves and the life that we have got to live. I mean, more often than not, I find myself putting things on a pedestal, a pedestal that's so high that I'd figuratively and literally do anything to achieve or attain those things, may it be something materialistic or someone who I think is worth all of that, the case being the latter, usually. Don't get me wrong, there are those people who are worth all of that and then a lot more but the question is, is the person you're putting on that kind of a pedestal the person who is worth it?
That's always something to think about, isn't it. Oh, and if you have to think about it for someone, they probably aren't worth it.
Love, peace.
