Smallness.

Sometimes, we all can live in a very small world. A world where we only think about ourselves because all of our boundaries start and end with us, just us. We'd get propelled in such a way that it is almost next to impossible for us to even consider that there might just be a bigger world out there, a bigger picture, a picture that is complete.

Hello there, I am the Earthian.

And it really is very easy for us to get caught in this whirlwind. Our brains will refrain from functioning the way it is supposed to function too. All it would do is take turns to find different ways to just keep our attention fixed to the minuscule picture that we are in fact seeing. Fixating back to a few people, nitpicking on issues that aren't worth a dime, going back and forth about whom to blame for the mishaps and our own issues, trying to figure out who conspired what against us are just a few of the exercises that we'd do when we just can't get enough of our own selves.
It's funny how much we can get obsessed about our own selves, forgetting everything else that exists on this beautiful and staggering planet. It's also funny how we (the few who do) start believing that we are relevant. Not saying that we aren't relevant in any way, it's just we aren't the only ones who are relevant. In fact, it's all collective. We can never be the only relevant beings. It just doesn't work that way and it probably would never work that way either purely because of the height of the selfishness that is involved in that notion.

Love, peace.
