Mystery.
Every single day, I get reminded of how much I don't know about people. I get reminded of the fact that people are just so mysterious and that it is always best to not judge anyone too quickly for things always have the potential to take a detour. You never really know someone, I guess.
Hello there, I'm the Earthian.
The truth I've learnt is that people only show you that side that they are comfortable showing you. Not that this is a bad thing, but this just is always a reminder that no matter how we perceive someone to be, they just might end up being someone that we would have never expected them to be. That's just how things work, and that's totally fine too, although it takes time to get accustomed to it. From wherever we are and with whatever view we get on people and things, our opinions that we form just have every potential of being totally biased or at least, partially biased. And because we are such strong believers in our own causes and in our own perspectives and opinions, we often forget that maybe their just might be things we aren't aware of. Oftentimes, it is only those things that are right in front of our own eyes that we are capable of looking at and understanding. Whatever that isn't obviously evident is something we fail to even recognize. And when something new about someone pops up totally out of the blue, we get caught off guard. Especially when it makes sense and explains someone's behaviour.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that not everyone is as open as we'd like them to be. Insecurities, inhibitions and most importantly, incidents that they have experienced mould them into who they are. It just doesn't hurt to never judge.
Love, peace.
