Focus.

I have no control over what my coworkers and friends choose to think about me. I have no control over what my manager at work thinks about me. I have no control over what my social media followers think about me. I have no control over anything that is done by people who are not me. That's just the way it's going to be because people are people and they are entitled to their opinions no matter what. The more I try to alter their opinions and try to get in their good books, the more miserable I will become for that is a task that I will never succeed at. If I'm not happy with the pay I'm receiving at work, it's up to me to find a better job or to make myself better qualified, it's up to me to improve my talents and skills. It's up to me to feed me hunger of knowledge. It's up to me to establish myself as a good person and a professional and I only have and will always only have control over these aspects. And it's rather easy for me to focus on these aspects alone. Life is so much easier when I do this. I know it will be for you too once you choose to do it.
