My Trade.
Writing, is my single most favoured activity to do ever. I may have forgotten about how incredibly freeing writing a few words a day is but today, I had to write over four thousand words for an activity I have little interest in. It is at that moment did I realise how silly I have been, trying to sell my art in ways it shouldn't be sold. Today was a reminder for me to remember that I fell in love with writing and not the laurels behind it.
Hello there, I'm the lad who refers to himself as 'the Earthian'.
I remember as a kid, I used to be extravagantly imaginative. Not that I'm trying to paint a brilliant picture of myself, but that's all I was. Someone with crazy ideas and someone who wasn't ashamed of his crazy ideas. I've written plays after being inspired by a couple, I've written rhymes, I've written short stories, I've written jingles and even several poems and today, when I was writing the long article, I couldn't recall myself as the creative kid I was once was. What mattered to me was writing, and that was it, I didn't need a whole lot to go on either, just a pen and a notebook. It reminded me of how much I've lost about myself and how very little I've received in my trade. I traded my pens for gadgets and notebooks for screens and life has not been the same ever since.
Just a piece of my life I wanted to share.
Love, peace.
