What We Can Give.
Very rarely do I meet people who are very happy and content with their life, very rarely do I meet someone who says they are perfectly satisfied with their life. It's even more rare to find someone who says that life has treated them well so far.
Hello there, I'm the lad who claims to be 'the Earthian'. You're more than welcome to join hands with me. I swear I don't bite.
Now this is not me trying to take away the credit of someone who says that life hasn't treated them well. In fact, if given an opportunity, I am more than likely to say that too. Take my proverbial hands, you don't have to suffer alone, and you definitely do not have to suffer in silence. I can't promise you that you will feel better but I can assure you that you won't feel any worse. It is not in our hands, most of what life has been for some of us. We do not choose to be born with the skin colour we are born with, we don't choose the family we're born to, rich, poor, good parents, selfish parents, our environment, our situations, our sex. A lot of what life gives us is like the outcome from a coin flip, we do not get to choose, at all. However, we do get to choose love, we do get to choose kindness and it starts with us. We need to know what it feels like to truly love ourselves, accept ourselves and treat ourselves with kindness, in order for anyone else to show the same to us, in order for us to show the same to others. It starts with us. We may not have been able to control what was given to us but we, for sure, can control what we offer to us. Always.
Love, peace.
