You start somewhere. You need to start somewhere. You can't just let your dreams stay the way they are and still want to succeed. You take a step forward, and they'll take two or even three forward at you. That's how it works. Or that's how I think it works.

It's just not worth it to keep complaining that life isn't fair. It is and you know it and you can't do anything about it. It's okay to start from a defecit, it's okay to lag behind everyone else when you start, it's okay as long as you're putting in consistent and sincere work. Remember your dreams are precious, perhaps only to you, but precious nevertheless and they'll only get more valuable with passing time. You're not going to give up, are you? I know there will be days when you'll want to not move any further or perhaps even take others' advice and take a step back. But you just can't give up. Not yet, not ever.
