Special Deeds
You really don't have to move mountains to prove your worth to anyone, including yourself. Sometimes it takes little to even no effort to leave a mark, a lasting one too, but it has to come from a place that is not shrouded by selfishness.
Hello there, I am the Earthian.
It is okay to want good things to happen to us, but at what cost is a question that often goes unanswered. Does it come out of hard work and toil? Or does it come out of a cheeky trick you pulled off on your friend who just happens to be kind enough to do it for you with very few expectations from you. Leaving a mark isn't heroic or a gesture of nobleness. It is a reminder that our souls have been touched by something so pure that it didn't mean to touch us. It happens so instantaneously and it happens in such unexpected fashion that you start wondering if it's a dream, perhaps even magic. And as time passes by, all you would remember is the sanctity of the act and it's selfless nature. That's what makes it the special deed it is.
