Its important to not get carried away by people. Not by what they say to you, not by how they act around you, not by anything even remotely material, not by all that you have in common and certainly not by their appearance.

Because people are bound to be who they are and they are bound to be unique. They are bound to be the consequences of their experiences in life and they're bound to be indoctrinated with information from people they look up to. They're bound to be original and they're bound to be people they want to be. And there's really not a lot that you or me can do about this. Its important to understand where these people belong in our lives and how far or close to our hearts they belong. Its important to remember they'll pass through our lives, just like we'll pass through theirs. Its important to never, ever forget that when a part of us gets invested in them, theres a fifty-fifty chance of us getting shattered through that part, maybe even more than just fifty-fifty. And its important to always respect the fact that people come in all different forms in all possible combinations and then some. And they have beautiful stories to tell, if you're a story type of person. Unique and beautiful stories.
