Pep Talk.

Sometimes, all you need is someone to tell you that things are going to be fine and even if they aren't they'll stick around with you until they are. Not that you would actually expect them to stick around but the mere thought that someone is willing to go to extents for you, extents you would never make them go, is a lot of motivation.

Hello there, I am the Earthian.

It's not easy though, neither is it free because of so many reasons, some of them being: the fact that most people just don't care enough anymore about anyone to actually do it, the fact that they would much rather not lie and give people false hope, worst of all, the fact that people just like being real. Real as in, they take a look at the recent and the not so recent history and study the statistics and actually tell you that based on the stats they just looked up, you actually have no chance of making it as whomever you want to make it as. I mean, surely, nobody wants to hear this, but this is also why they don't give you the pep talk that would definitely do a lot for you. Either it's nothing or it's the real talk.
Fear not though, because whilst it is actually indeed very nice to hear from people and get some motivation, you don't need it for as long as you have yourself and maybe a mirror to give just that. Cheesy? Absolutely. Does it feel good though? Absolutely, again. And then maybe one day you can give the pep talk you never received to someone whom you think needs one. Just maybe, though.

Love, peace.
