Sometimes the best one can get is the worst. That's just how it is and he can blame absolutely nobody for this, not even his own self. And that's not even the worst part about this. The worst part is the fact that he can do nothing about this to change it.

However, the best part, there is always a best part, is that fact that he gets to take tons of memories with him. Because the only things people can't do is change people's perceptions, let alone change people themselves. This is especially true in the cases where something truly special loses its speciality and becomes something that can only be described by the words unfortunate, unexpected and completely unfair. No matter how much one might want things to go back to how they used to be, they just won't because losing trust is not an easy joke for anyone, especially not for the ones who have their hearts broken by being the ones to break hearts.

It's like a fractured leg. Things might eventually become alright, but once fractured is good enough for a lifetime of limitations. There will always be that something you might want to do one last time but you can't, because you have got it fractured.
