Ideologies.
Sometimes you keep waiting and waiting for something to happen, you wait for so long a period but then when it finally happens it just doesn't feel in the least way special. Those are the times you can actually realize and understand that you were more addicted to waiting for that something to happen than it actually happening. You were hooked to that suspension because that's what gave you the satisfaction that you don't want to admit you were looking for.
Hello there, I am the Earthian.
It's not because what you were looking for lost it's specialty somewhere along the way or because of the fact that something changed, it's just that you were always addicted to thinking you craved for something that you didn't actually crave for.
What's my point? My point is sometimes we don't know ourselves and it's okay for us to not know ourselves. Sometimes, we think we need things, we convince ourselves we need things that we don't actually need, we become so convicted in our thoughts that when we do get to have them and when we do get to experience them and they don't in the least way feel like what we signed up for, we get disappointed in that something for no reason, we feel misled but it's us who did the misleading part. It's not that thing or experience's fault. It's ours. And the same applies to people.
Sooner or later, we are bound to find more out about people and when we do and when the reality doesn't corroborate with our thoughts and notions about them, we are going to be let down. But it's completely okay for us to be let down. And it is also completely okay for them to be the way they are. Coming to peace with it will eventually happen. hopefully.
Love, peace.
