Words.
People throw around words like they mean nothing and I have a problem with that. I know, I know, who gives a damn about my problems? Well, me. That's who. Words do mean a lot. Words can mean everything to someone who thrives with words, to someone who hopes to live with words.
Hello there, I am the Earthian.
I understand there is this obsession with "actions mean a lot more than words" but hold on for a second. I am not by any chance denying the power of actions. They are powerful and when done right, they could mean a whole lot and there is no taking away any thing from that. But words are still words. They sometimes don't feel sufficient enough because there is this gap between what we intend to say and what we do end up saying. And this gap is going to exist for as long a period as it takes for us to get some finesse. There will be misunderstandings, there will be miscommunications and there will be chaos, but it's not words that are to be blamed. It's the users of these words and I don't think even they can be blamed for it is not with the intent of conveying the wrong message they did it. It just happened so. If you are still not convinced, think of all of your favourite writers, and think of all of your favourite books. Think about how they reached the deepest parts of your heart, parts that you didn't even know existed in you and think about how long you've spent reminiscing those emotions.
However, words do have one problem. They do exactly the job they were meant to do. Doesn't matter if the job is to bring about a smile or to tear someone's heart out and toss it away into the bin. Words can do both and once done, they just can't be taken back. So, careful. You might not want to toss them around like they mean nothing.
Love, peace.
