Weakling.
The issue with old sayings and old quotes like "If you put in the efforts, you will see the results you've been wanting to see!", is the fact that these apply to a world where the situations are ideal in the general sense. It is applicable where everyone works with the same mindset, where everyone is innately happy for one another, where everyone
understands the importance of each other and treat each other fairly.
Hello there, I'm the Earthian. Say hello, if you are one too!
In today's world, the biggest issue is the fact that the world is not fair, even though, it promises to be. The factor of our success solely depends on how influential we are or how influential we can be. Which is why almost everyone remains in the same status they are born in. The rich keep getting richer and the poor people, I'm sorry to say, are still very much in the struggle zone. So, no matter how muh effort we put in, there will come a time when people will just laugh at us for our fall backs.
So what is the solution for this unfairness? Does it mean that to be successful, we need compromise the integrity that we have as humans? Maybe, but then again, if you compromise your righteousness, you will do nothing but add to the existing unfairness.
The problem is not with the systems, most of the time. Because, you see, the systems are almost all the time, based on ethical values. They are good. But it's our nature to find routes to escape the right way and fall into the easy way out that needs to be blamed. Most of us, tend to be submissive to those who confidently take easy ways out. We need to do something to make the change that we yearn to see.
Imagine that you're witnessing a bully bullying a fellow student. You have a choice to make. You can either stop the bully (either by yourself or if you're scared, with the help of the authority) or you can just be a passer-by. The fact that we think it's okay to be a passer-by because most of the witnesses are just passers-by is noteworthy. By being just a passer-by, you are not only taking the easy way out, but adding to the unfairness that prevails in the world by being submissive to the bully. Because it's not the victim that is weak, it's you, who did nothing but watch who's weak.
Gandhi, once quoted, "Be the change you want to see in the world". Wise words to always remember.
Lot's of love, peace.
