Trivia.
I may sound like I've figured life out, to a few people who read this. It's a fairly logical assumption to make as I constantly share "my insights" with you.
Hello there, I'm the Earthian.
Jokes aside, the questions that get me to the most uncomfortable state ever, is the question of "What have you thought about your career? What do you think you'll be doing for a living? How successful do you think you will be? Where do you see yourself in the future? And what do you think your future self would be?" They not only make me extremely uncomfortable, but a little annoyed and cranky too! Because, for one reason, its really obvious that the answer to them is "I don't know" and for another, usually, the person that asks me these questions, is an old fashioned person, who would have lots of experience but no open-mindedness. Any fumble in my answer will immediately put my self-esteem on the line and soon, they'll be all over me, giving me career advices. Talking to someone who isn't open-minded is like talking to a rock. Exactly, neither of them listen to what you have to say. And both of them can make you feel bad about yourself.
To people that aren't open-minded, it may seem like they are sure about what they want in their life and it may seem to other people that they are enjoying life to bits, but in reality, they too are in the learning phase of life. Nobody can actually say that they've figured out their life. Everyone can only keep figuring it out.
So, if you're unsure about where you're going, but are sure about what you want to do, you're good to go. If you're figuring out what you want to do with your life, you're still good to go, because guess what, your try is what that matters.
Lots of love, peace.
