Marvel.
If I ask you "who are you?", how would you answer it? What would your mind go through on how to answer that question. Let's be honest, it's a fairly simple question and you'll most likely come up with an answer that would revolve around your name and where you've been brought up.
Hello there, I'm the Earthian.
But who really are you? What is your true identity? Is it your name? Is it your race? Is it your skin tone? Is it your physical features? Is it where you've been brought up? Is it the religion that you follow? Is it the people with whom you've been mingling with? Is it the job you do? Is it a combination of all of the above? Or is it just you?
You see, identifications are useful when you are trying to classify yourself, when you're trying group yourself with something, when you're trying to find a spot for yourself amongst others. So, it's all about how you're perceiving the question. If you're trying to identify yourself with something, someone, some culture, you are basically grouping yourself. Not that anything is wrong with it but is it truly who you are? No. It's only a description of yourself. A description that is completely defined by human beings. A description that is supposed to make us feel like we are a part of something. A description to make us not feel lonely.
The truth is though, we are a part of something. We all are. A part of something very beautiful, majestic and magnificent. A part of the grandeur that is this planet. So why doesn't it ever strike us to identify ourselves with the greatest identity that we can possibly have? Why can't we just be human beings? Why can't we just be happy Earthians?
We definitely are a part of this marvel, but we won't be, forever. So it's up to us to step up and actually make our time here, count.
Lots of love, peace.
