Mates.
The reason why you should restrict yourself from talking and mingling with certain people, certain people who on the outside look cool and endearing when in reality are just crooks hiding behind fake smiles, is because they will, a hundred percent make you feel like you are one of them.
Hello there, I'm the Earthian.
They are the ones that tell you funny stories, get you to trust them, make you share your weaknesses and let you be as vulnerable as you possibly ever can, and they will embrace the whole of you, completely and make you feel at home. At the same time, they will secretly be sucking out your strengths too. They will make your dreams vanish away and tell you that dreams are made up words and there are actually only a few who are destined for greatness.
As you hear that same sentence over and over again, at some point you will think maybe, just maybe, they are right. And that thought is enough to bring you down to their level.

What kind of people should you want in your life then? Ideally, you should want people who tell you that you aren't a failure even when you fail miserably. You shouldn't want someone to embrace and give in to failure, convincing yourself that you're not worthy enough. You should want someone who will help you grow alongside them not someone who will slide down alongside you. You should want someone to tell you that it's okay to take risks and even push you to reach for the stars, not someone who says it's dangerous to take a risk and that you have a fifty percent chance of failure.
You know why you should try? Because when you try, you have a fifty-fifty chance for both success and failure. When you don't even try, the odds for success is zero and that for failure is a hundred percent. Have people that make you try. That, in itself, is more than sufficient.
Lots of love, peace.
