Gifted.
As obvious as it sounds, I am a strong believer in the fact that everyone is gifted. Everyone is talented in some way or the other. And I mean every single person in this planet.
Hello there, I'm the Earthian.
And even though it sounds a little controversial, I also believe that at some level, everyone knows what they're good at. Everyone is aware of the fact that they have something that can really be a great, worthwhile activity.
But why is it that almost all of us do not pursue the talent that we have? Why is it that we always stick with the routine? I mean, what we are good at is what we must like to do, technically, isn't it?
The problem is not with us. It's with the way society asks us to deal with scenarios.
From a young age, we were taught to strenthen our weaknesses, correct our mistakes, solve our problems, develop new habits and what not. And so, our sight has always only seen the weaker aspects of things. And we, naturally apply this exact same thing to our lives. You see, it's not often we are asked to do what we are good at. So, we barely look at what we are good at, let alone focus on it, strengthen it, improve it and develop it. And when enough time passes, we just lose the gift that was given to us.
It's the subtle difference between talent and skill. Work on your talent. Keep making progress with the gifts that you have and you'll know what I mean.
Lots of love, peace.
