Leech.
When we start getting comfortable in our own environment, there is always someone who tells us, who reminds us of "who" we are. They tell us things like we're not as special as we think we are. They tell us things like we are below average, we are lame and a lot more of mean things.
Hello there, I'm the Earthian.
And I call these people, leeches.
Ah, yes, you read that right. Because what they do is that, slowly but surely they reduce the potential power that we have within ourselves. The negativity that they bring to our equation is just that small grass knot that can get the heaviest of elephants to trip and fall down.
If you are in the presence of any of these people, I humbly advice you to find yourself better company. Maybe you're thinking that that one person who says those things to you is the necessary speedbump in your journey, but let me assure you, that person is no speedbump but a one man wrecking crew who will make you feel bad when you actually do meet with a real speed bump. They are like the one damaged screw to your machine which will soon wear it out.
You may think that you need them to push yourself to the extreme, but in reality they are just a pain you have unnecessarily decided to carry on your back.
No matter who we are, voices that constantly tell us about how good we are or rather how good we aren't, are voices to ignore and not voices to hear through. Always remember that you didn't start your journey with a burden and that you are own your own so there is actually no need for you to add one mid-way.
Lot's of love, peace.
