Worried?

What do we do, most of us, when we fail in a certain task? And why do we do that? Is it helping us? Will it ever? Well, you'll soon understand what I'm talking about here.

Hello, people, The Earthian here.

So, I'm talking about the human nature to worry and constantly keep worrying. As much as people say that it's useless and that they won't do it in life, they keep falling back to it. I mean, it's almost like we are trained to worry and keep worrying.
So, let's say a student has failed in a subject's test. There are two options for him now. 1. To start working hard and make sure the results are better the next time. 2. Worry, until he loses all the hope he had in his mind.

Usually, the option that is picked is not #1. It's almost always #2. Why? Well, because it is easier to worry. Picking up option 1 means that he has to make a commitment. It means that he has to work hard, it means that he has to sacrifice certain parts of his life and give up on certain aspects of it. All this, is of course in his head.
The bottom line is we are scared. And worrying makes us feel comfortable. I'm sorry to say this, but as long as we are in our comfort zone, progress is certainly out of the picture. It's all about the ability to fight the big fight, which is the fight within us. We either choose to be our own friend or a foe. By worrying, we only let the foe within us, win.

Just always remember, losing and failing always happens in life. It's like an unwritten rule. An almost mandatory part of it. But giving up? That's completely up to us. Think about it.

Peace.
