Gossip?
So far, I've been talking about things that I understand and the way I see what I understand. Let's do something different today.
Hello all, The Earthian here.
So, tell me, why are we humans more interested in others' life, rather than our own? I mean, clearly, we only get to live ours. We only get to eat our food, we only get to style our hair, we only get to share our thoughts, we only get to wear our dress (okay this maybe a slight exaggeration). At the end of the day, we still look more interested in others' life.
For example, let's go back to our school days. Let's say we have completed our tests/examinations and the results are out. The first thing we do, is check out our scores. The second thing we do is call up the rest of the world and annoy them by asking the one question that makes them really, really uncomfortable.
I mean, what are we seeking when we do this? Happiness? Pleasure? If yes, for what? To establish that you're "smarter" than your friends? To prove the same?
Let me tell you what, it's not worth it.
Most of the people that use social media is not using it for being productive or to actually connect. Most use it, to gossip. There is an actual difference, it may only me a fine line, between connecting and gossiping.
I literally don't understand why people do it, but most of the people around me do it. Does it bother me? Nope. But do I have an opinion on it? Yes, that's what you're reading now.
I can't tell you much, but I really can say that if you're too busy counting the number of trees in your neighbours garden, the ones you have in your garden will die. It's you that keeps them alive.
Thanks for reading, lots of love, peace.
