Purpose
We all have our dreams. We have our goals, aspirations and ambitions that we want to realize one day. But do we all have a purpose?
Hello all, The Earthian here.
So, what do I mean, when I say 'purpose'? Well, everytime we say that we want make our dreams come true, mostly, it's about only us. It's just us that wants to achieve something. As fine as that is, it is notable to see that we lack selflessness. Sure it's okay to want to achieve something, the thing you want to in life, but that's not the end, is it?
To make it clear, let me quote an example. Let's assume that a person 'X' wants to become an actor. He puts in all the effort needed for it, goes through all the troubles, endures all the hits, digests all the pain and finally he becomes the man he wanted to be. He has become big enough for people to call him a star.
This is the point where he can, with the whole of his heart, say that he has achieved his aspirations, realized his dreams and is living his life.
Does his role end here? In my opinion no. He's achieved his goals, sure, but now the question is, what is he going to do with his ability to capture the minds of millions of people?
That's where the real star power lies. Whatever he chooses to do now, determines his purpose of life. He can book himself in for various interviews to earn a few extra bucks. Or, he can use his 'power' to make a difference. Whatever he does now, will or will not make him a superstar.
That's how different a purpose is from a dream.
Peace.
