The Scales.

Somewhere along the line we have been convinced that we all are important, which isn't a bad thing. We all indeed are important. But there are those who are also convinced that their importance, their value is higher because they've achieved "bigger and better" things than the rest of us.

Hello there, I'm the Earthian.

Every scale that measures something is a scale invented by somebody. Somebody who just wanted to make life simpler. And these scales have just been traditionally accepted. These scales never actually existed. And hence anything measured using these scales is only relative to the scale. It is never an absolution. And that includes the quality of our lives too. We don't deserve better things in life just because we have "accomplished" something. We don't get to be placed on a pedestal just because we think we deserve to be placed on one. We don't deserve to be treated better because of what we have/had been able to do. Our value, our worth and our respect comes not form what we do. Pride, ego and the sense of superiority are the only bi products our accomplishments can fetch us.
In fact, it actually works the other way around. The more we live our lives with a fake sense of superiority the more our lives will deteriorate, right in front of our lives. One might even wonder why this happens but one can only keep wondering.
It's beyond all of these "accomplishments" our worth, our value and our respect come from. It is the human side of ours that brings this. The side that makes our accomplishments matter. The side that makes us humble for every thing that we get to experience and even share. The human side. The side that matters.

Lot's of love, peace.
