Failures?

I keep hearing from all sorts of people that I meet that "failure is not an option". And I always wonder just who they're kidding when they say something like that and even believe in it, and believe in it so much that they spread it to people like it's a fact. Let me put this in as honest and as subtle a way as possible. Failure is ALWAYS an option, no matter what you do. You play a game, there's at least thirty three and a third percent chance that you fail. You want to be a successful musician, actor, dancer or just about any other kind of artist? There's a chance that you will fail, and often times, the odds of you failing are as high as fifty percent. That's just simple math and the way life is. Having said that, failure is no reason to quit. Failure is no factor to be afraid of. Failure should be no hindrance to your dreams. So what if you've failed? As a matter of fact, so what if you've succeeded? Will you stop doing what you love the most if you become successful? If your answer to that is an emphatic "no", why can't you apply it to failures too? Results are only very minute parts of you and your story and often negligible. Your journey should not depend on failure or success, for if they do, the intimacy will be lost. The intimacy between your story and you. Enjoy the process. Live your life. Always.

Love, peace.
