Baby Steps.

All it really takes is tiny steps. Little baby steps for a very long time, little steps that you feel comfortable taking everyday. That's all it takes. One lesson a day, one article a day, one practice session a day, one test a day, one exercise a day, but every single day. That's all it takes, whatever you want to be. You want to learn to play the piano? Great! Try this and let me know after 3 months. Want to learn Karate? Fantastic, try this plan out and let me know where you are six months from now. Want to learn a new language? Perfect, try this and let me know. Because once you do this with enough consistency, once you turn your dream into a goal,  once you break down your goal into different targets, once you break down your targets into everyday tasks, you'll fall in love with it. You really will, if your dream really does mean something to you. Think about all the elements you can control and control only those elements. Elements like your effort, your time, your focus, your thoughts, your actions are some examples of what you can control. Elements like your circumstances, people's negativity, perhaps the fact that you, at the moment, can't afford to spend big investing on your dreams, are all elements you cannot control. You get your tasks done, achieve your own targets, accomplish your goals and grab your dreams by their hands and dance with them, you'll realise that's all that matters. Ponder.
