Not Knowing.
Something about being validated is very satisfying, very soothing to our egos and very heart melting. It has nothing to do with the point being right or wrong, everything to do with our own inability to accept fallacy. We can all do better, of course, but most of us don't even think we can do better. Most of us assume it's the world that has the problem and that we're perfect the way we are. Not only is that funny because you are a part of the world and not an exclusive entity, but also because there's no you without this world. You are much bigger than your opinions and the fact that you won't even consider the possibility that you could be wrong is very silly. We could all be wrong, no matter who we are, and we could all not know things, no matter who are. There's nothing embarrassing about it. It's wonderful, in a way of sorts, because it opens up so many opportunities for us to learn and grow. It opens up so many windows and doors for us to explore, not knowing and being wrong. Shame it's not seen that way.
Love, peace.
