Mindfulness.
I've often questioned the results of my actions, because that's where my brain first goes. It doesn't think about my actions primarily, but the result of them. Which is ironic because without my actions, there aren't results, there aren't reasons to worry about, complain about feel dejected about. My actions determine the results for the majority part of it and the rest is not in my hands. Taking accountability and responsibility for who you are as a person is a very empowering thing. It's more rewarding and empowering than you would realize because not only will you be gradually improving the quality of your decisions but you'll also be more and more aware of you. You, the living being, you the witness of this magic that we call life and universe. You will witness yourself and with enough time and patience, cherish yourself. Be mindful. Be thoughtful. Be heartful.
Love, peace.
