The Right Thing.

I think its fair to say that we all have had that dream where we just wake up one day to see all of our problems vanishing away into thin air. Everything just falls into place. Life couldn't be any better than that, could it?

Hello there, I am the Earthian.

The only problem with that dream is that it is a dream. But if you really think about it, the reality, by itself isn't as hard as we think it is. Sure, there are problems that we have to deal with, problems we never asked for, but they themselves are not what causes us so much distress. The thought that we are missing out on what everyone else is getting to enjoy, convincing ourselves that everyone else is getting to enjoy except for us, drives us a lot more crazy than the problems themselves. Individually, every problem can be solved, granted, they are all individually different, but inherently, they all carry a solution. And we do get to solving them, at some point, but we just feel bad about having to solve it in the first place when we could have avoided it completely.

Something about not having  "just the right thing" is what bothers us more. But there really isn't "just the right thing" anywhere. And in our pursuit of it, we're only running farther away from the person we see when we stand in front of the mirror.

Love, peace.
