Sense Of Justice

Hurtful things happen to us left, right and center and sometimes, they're just inevitable. And most times, it isn't fair, because you wouldn't have done anything wrong, in particular. Sometimes, you get picked on by peers, and get put right down for no reason.

And at other times, you get walked over and mauled by people who have authority, just because they could do it to you. And as much as you'd want to retaliate and as much as you'd like to retaliate, you just can't sometimes, and that's something that you find hard to accept. And I am completely with you. Its incidents like these and moments like these that make you completely lose faith in humanity and want to seclude yourself from the world, just because in your heart, somewhere, deep down, you believe that you don't deserve any of this and for similar reasons, the world doesn't deserve you. But somewhere along the line, we forget that we were never, ever promised a world where everything was just and everyone was aligned to the idea of utopia. That's what we'd all like, sure, but that's not the reality, not yet, at least and so, taking these hits personally and trying to seclude yourself, or even worse, planning to retaliate are not the best of ideas, are they? Ponder.
