Manipulators.

Some people know how to get things done from us, or so they think. They know who we are as people and try to take advantage of the people we are, not necessarily in a bad way, but in a way that if we don't agree to what they have to say or concede to what they're trying to accomplish, we'll end up feeling bad about ourselves, if we let them,  that is.

Hello there, I'm the Earthian.

And this is manipulation at its best. And no, they're not bad people. They're not even people who dislike us or hate us. They could very well be people who like us, maybe people like us a little too much. Like us so much that they just think manipulating us to get their way with just the intention of spending some time with us isn't wrong. And I get it, in a very weird and vague way, I get that its flattering us. But at the end of the day, it still is manipulation and it still is unacceptable.
What's really funny is when they think, when they're convinced they aren't manipulating and taking advantage, because at the end of the day, they're doing it for a "good" cause. People's inner sense of justice is a very tricky playing field because all that matters to them is what satisfies their own hearts and sometimes, no matter how unfair it seems to everyone else, as long as it satisfies their own hearts they'll go through with it.

And I know, you don't really want to let go of these people and you don't really want to be at the recieving end of their manipulation, but its really up to you to define your boundaries. If end is what is imminent, prepare for that too. You need yourself a lot more than you think you need anyone else.
