Unnatural?
About long while ago, I met someone. Someone I never thought I would meet, but definitely someone I would remember. I am not usually the guy who connects with people, but with this person, I somehow connected.
Hello there, I am the Earthian.
He, this person, started asking me questions. Questions I usually wouldn't be receiving from anyone. He started asking me definitions for being normal, being weird and if I would describe something or someone as abnormal or weird. He had an agenda. He wanted to tell me something. But he didn't have the courage to tell me whatever he wanted to tell me straightly. He asked me all sorts of questions, just to make sure I was trustworthy of whatever he was going to tell me. He then asked me if I thought there were things that were natural and unnatural. And while I did answer his questions to a satisfactory extent, he didn't seem to concur with my answers.
The problem was, I answered him applying my logical brain to the questions he asked. But our logic is a tool that has very limited capabilities. Anything that is above and beyond our logic's understanding ability is something that we would usually blatantly and bluntly deny, just because it doesn't fit into our logic. He told me something really, really valuable. He told me everything that's unnatural, is also actually natural, he told me anything that's abnormal is also actually normal. It's because we are so used to understanding nature in a certain way we fail to even acknowledge that there might be more sides to it than what we're used to seeing. Our logic needs to understand things to acknowledge, appreciate and accept things. But, the truth is, it is okay even if we don't understand things. All we need is a little bit of an open heart to acknowledge, accept and appreciate.
Turning off our logical minds when we don't need it and opening our hearts to anything and everything would actually pave way to understanding ourselves. And that in turn would help us appreciate everything that this life has to offer. You might want to try doing it.
