Love-Hate.

Fact: Everyone is going to let us down. Now if you're like "Woah! How dare he says that?" Well, it's just an opinion from a guy who calls himself the Earthian. Hi there!

As agonizingly, surprisingly irritating as that sounds, it isn't necessarily a bad thing. But it is true in every single way. Think about all the people you've loved in your life. And now, honestly think to yourself of how many of those people you loved have hurt you? What's that? All of them? Yeah, I'm not surprised. And even if not all of them have hurt you or disappointed you yet, they will do it in the future. It is what it is. Oh wait, it's not over yet. Now, think about all the people you were/are not fond of. Now think about how many of those people have let you down by surprisingly doing amazingly beautiful things? All of them again? Well, again, I'm really not surprised. It's just the way things are bound to happen. Just when we think we've figured someone out, we get totally blindsided by them in ways we would have never expected to get blindsided by them and that's is just how it works. It's constantly a love-hate relationship and it is too damn draining with people.

However, when I say everyone is bound to let us down in some way or the other, I mean everyone but one person. And that person is ourselves. But, the kicker here is that we too can let ourselves down just like everyone else. It's about what our choices are that it comes down to. You don't have to be that person who let's yourself suffer. You can be your own pole star. The person you go to when others let you down. You can be the person who makes yourself strong and you can be the person who radiates nothing but love and positivity. When you treat yourself rightly, you'll know how valuable you really are to yourself and you'll not be too let down, if you're let down in the first place. Again, I'm not an advocate for narcissism. There is a fine line between being self-sufficient and selfish. You know what I'm talking about here. Ponder.
