To Each, Their Own.
The good thing about sitting with someone and having them pour out their heart to you and letting them get all welled up is you learn to appreciate what you have in your life at a different level. One common thing about almost all people is that they have their own stories. And although everyone's story is unique, you will realize, at some level, they are all the same.
Hello there, I'm the Earthian.
People tell me stories of what happened to them in their childhoods and why they wish nobody ever undergoes whatever they went through. I know this is really noble and sweet of them but what they forget is that it's their stories that made them who they are today. It's what happened to them that made them the person they are today. Maybe they turned out good. Maybe not. But the mere fact that they went through what they went through, undeniably, has a major impact in who they are today.
What I'm trying to say is that it's not always a bad thing to be in bad, tough situations. Because how you react to these situations and how you act, put in the effort, to turn the tides around you is what is going to really show how strong (or not) you are. Romanticising things isn't going to help you. Embracing all of the situations we are in is a big part of our lives. But don't get me wrong, I'm not telling you should be submissive about it. Embrace it, endure it, stay strong, don't crash hard.
Lots of love, peace.
