Quality vs Quantity.
You know why we think so much before making a personal decision? It's because we do not want to let people know our insecurities. And it's fine too. Because our insecurities make us vulnerable to situations and other people and there ones who are ready to just grab us up by our collars and give us a hard time just because they know what our insecurities are.
Hello there, I'm the Earthian.
And we don't want this to happen. That's why we make sure we fit right in whatever situation, place and environment that we are in. For example, let's say you want to improve your life in some aspect. But you feel like your friends are holding you up. Now you don't want to leave them behind because they are your buddies, and, because if you do you'll end up alone. But the fact that they are stopping you by giving you distractions and by feeding you counter productive things and activities bothers you so much. You know they're not good for you. You even try telling them why you need to make those changes that you want to make but they just drag you along with them. It's all up to you now. It's up to you to decide to make that change by eliminating all of them from your lives. Or you can just let them ruin you along with them.
Sometimes what we need is the ability to think objectively. The ability to assess what we need. The ability to differentiate what we need from what we want. The ability to make tough decisions without a second or a third thought. The ability to qualify and not quantify. Because when you quantify you look at how much good someone brings to your life. When you look at only that, you're ignoring the the quality. It's like the analogy of a high end hotel and a cheap motel. Both are good but one is just good enough and the other is really good. You see what I mean?
Lots of love, peace.
