The Mad Race.
Competition is what that reminds us of our own paths. Or even worse, competition becomes our mission. We don't know who we are or what we are unless we are competing against someone. The value of ours is directly related to who we are competing against and what for we are competing. Queer is one word to describe this situation, I agree.
Hello there, I'm the Earthian.
In fact, we don't even know if we would like the product or goal that we are competing for. It's because everyone in the world thinks it's valuable, we seek it. We don't even know if it's all worth it, but we do it because the rest of the world seems to take a huge interest in whatever we are competing for. We don't even know if all the effort that we put in, if all the time that we put in, if all the hardships that we face, if all the downfalls that we experience is worth it. We still are a part of the race though because guess what, the world considers it precious, so there must be something valuable in what we are seeking.
Something that came along with the platform of internet is the collectively lost sense of uniqueness and a mad race for virtual fame and success. It's only when get neck deep into it and it starts suffocating we realize what we got ourselves into, most of us.
Lots of love, peace.
