Spilled Milk.
Something I hate doing is crying over spilled milk. I do do it though, very often. I have waves of memories of incidents, incidents where I should have done something but I failed. Incidents where I shouldn't have done something that I did but I did it any way. I still have a lot of those situations where I'm expected to be decisive but I end up as a blank book.
Hello there, I'm the Earthian.
What we don't do in situations like this is take the time to think it through, think about it thoroughly. We usually get some idiotic advice from a bloke who pretends to have mastered the art of decison making and settle for whatevers he's saying and then later regret about the decision that we took, or we just deliberately make the wrong decision and then feel bad about it. Either way, it's a loss for us.
This is something that will happen in life no matter what. No matter what we do, there will always be things that we will be missing out. We might want to do something so badly, but we'll just end up being unable to do that thing. And that's okay too. Learning to appreciate the goodness of wherever we are, whatever we do and however we struggle will open our minds to face every situation with a brand new perspective.
Not every event that we couldn't attend is a mishap, not every situation where we couldn't smile is an ill situation. The perspective that we carry forward and onward matters a lot more than the situation itself.
Smile. It doesn't hurt to do so. Maybe you'll start liking it.
Lots of love, peace.
