Self-Prioritization.
So, if you're someone who is afraid of speaking up, doing things you want to, approaching a stranger, and so you are not doing these things, I'm here to tell you I used to be one of you guys, too.
Hello there, I'm the Earthian.
I figured it is all about how you prioritize yourself. For instance, if you are someone who is afraid of speaking up in your classes, clarifying your doubts in your classes, you are basically worried about coming off as "too stupid" or "too ignorant" or "too cocky" to the rest of your classmates, which makes you prioritize yourself but on how others perceive you and not on how you see yourself. Something tells you to just keep your questions unanswered even though the person who actually can answer your questions is right in front of you. You are ultimately worried about getting a bad rapport. Same thing happens in so many other situations. So what is that that makes you want to hide your true self from the rest of the world and build up a facade? Well, for one reason, you do not ever want to be alone in your journey towards your goal. You want others to keep approving your path and your deeds in life. And you don't ever want to let any way to giving yourself the boot from the group. Which is why you do put yourself in a situation that brings more loss than good to yourself.
Let me tell you, it isn't worth it. Giving up on opportunities just because you don't want to get judged by people and that you don't want to strip yourself off of the opportunity of staying safely as a person in the herd is just not worth it. Truth is, nobody really bothers. Sure, there might be a few who judge you for every activity that you do but it still isn't any reason for you to quit being you. It's their defect. Not yours. Own yourself. Carry yourself with pride. Be the best version of yourself. Be you.
Lots of love, peace.
