The Grind.
The impact little things have on us is staggering. You see, we don't need a lot in order for us to get motivated. A view of the rising sun, a drench in the pouring rain, maybe even a jog in the cold winter morning. Even a cold shower!
Hello there, I'm the Earthian!
My point is, it is very easy for us to actually get excited and start doing something. The only issue is the fact that we find it extremely hard to stay motivated. We start doing something, we start seeing vague results in that activity of ours and sooner (or later) we find ourselves just quitting, because we no longer are motivated about that activity. And that is most of us. We just lose the drive we have for what we wanted to do at some point in our lives because somehow, we convince ourselves that it just isn't worth it, especially when we can enjoy, procrastinating.
So now, the question is, is the activity a really bad idea or do we just not have enough fuel with us to power through, all the way to the finish line? An expert of a field would know that there isn't a finish line, it's all only about how long we can keep doing what we do. The longer we do it, the stronger and better we get at it, though.
And I think the obvious answer here is the fact that we just don't have enough fuel. And there are so many reasons for that. But the biggest reason is that we are not ready to grind. We aren't ready to push through, power through and just tirelessly strive because that's what it takes to be successful.
Lot's of love, peace.
