Stereotyping.
One of the biggest issues today, in my perspective, is the fact that it is so easy to generalize what we personally experienced from one unique person from a certain background, on the whole crowd of where that person comes from. Also known as, stereotyping.
Hello there, it's the Earthian.
Think about it. It doesn't seem like a big issue unless you are a victim of getting treated badly, just because someone who comes with a similar national, ethnic or any background for that matter, had done something bad. It's like deeming all the bakeries in a certain location bad, just because one cake from one of them bakeries was bad. As silly as that situation sounds, but what would the other bakers' minds go through when the evaulating system is bad? And how would they feel when everyone starts to agree on that generalisation?
For those of you who don't seem to understand race, culture, location and all the types of backgrounds and judge a person based on just the above mentioned areas, let me just remind you that we, as humans, whether we like it or not, do not have the opportunity to choose where we get to take birth, where we get to live as a kid, who our parents are, how wealthy we are and what genes we carry. Hell, we weren't even asked if we wanted to take birth or not. Our lives don't even start the moment we want it to start at and it certainly doesn't end on the moment we want it to. The only opportunity that we were given is an opportunity to live. And to play with other people's opportunities and add to the unfairness that already exists, is just something that will never be morally agreeable.
Lots of love, peace.
