Alienation.
A huge mistake people make when they are feeling down is that they start assuming everyone's life is perfect and that it is only them that is actually suffering. Not only does this attitude make other people desert them, but it makes them feel like they are the ultimate victims and that their issues in life are like immovable objects.
Hello there! I'm the Earthian!
This might lead them to start questioning and even opposing the people who actually care about them. It makes them vulnerable to more issues of similar nature and very small things easily trigger them. Sooner or later, they realize they've bundled up so many small issues and that they are actually allowing their life to be controlled by their issues and situations. They realize that they have lost themselves in midst of simple chaos.
When they start seeking remedy for this chaos, they start realizing where the real problem is. And it is always with them. Because it is them who made their own problems bloat. It is themselves who alienated them. It is them who drove away the help they actually had.
Just remember that there is nothing wrong in seeking help. Nobody becomes weak when they do that. In fact, we get stronger, along with them, whomever is helping us. We get better. Alienating is not the solution. In fact, it is the exact opposite of the solution. It's just alienation.
Lots of love, peace.
