Fun!?

What's having fun? What's a joke? What's being a sensitive person? What's being childish, obscure and immature? More importantly, what's being cool and what's being a hot head?

Hello again, The Earthian here.

So, I recently ran into an argument. A friend called me immature for reacting badly to an apparent joke. These days, a joke is something, anything that makes people laugh. Even if you're insulting, being offensive and rude to another person, if people laugh, it's a joke. Even if you're just randomly cussing and dissing at other people, if people laugh, it's a joke.
But, if the person who is at the recieving end reacts badly, he is a hot head, right?

With the amount of power the internet has given people and the number of people who are ready to take advantage of it, one can never truly be himself, express what one wants to. The world finds a piece of news to be in a certain way. And if we find the news in a way that is contradictory to the world's view, we're not cool, apparently. Hence we silence ourselves, agreeing to whatever the world is rambling about, most of us.

I am a straight up person. If someone is being rude, I say they're rude. I like to stay away from conversations as much as possible because I feel like I never know how a good friend would react to whatever I'm saying in the spurt of the moment.
It's funny how people think  that just because a person is a good friend, he is obliged to take all the nonsense thrown at him. That, one should be sportive and move on. Unfortunately, there are a few sensitive people like me.

Will share more, peace.

PS: A joke is something that makes people genuinely laugh. Try reminding yourself that.
