Race.
Is it just me or does anyone else feel like we are spending way too much of our time, trying to beat everyone else in this world?
The world is apparently a race course and we are apparently horses.

Hello again, The Earthian here.
Why do we often get into competitions?
The biggest reason I feel for this is, we abide by the "rules". We don't pick what we want to do, instead we pick what most people pick and try to outshine them in that field, not considering for one moment, that whatever we picked might not be our cup of tea/coffee .
Starting from a very young age, most of us have been told that we need to get ourselves mentally equipped to put up with the people around the world. To survive. It has always been "the survival of the fittest" lesson to us. The result of this is, most work so much to get ourselves "Equipped" for like 2.5 decades of our life. Just when we think the race is over, someone breaks the silence saying, that it is now that the race actually starts, that so far we have only saddled up.
And by the time one realizes he/she wasn't built for this race, it's too late.
All they can now do is raise their lonely voices, only to be ignored, because the voice isn't just loud enough. Funny thing is, the number of people who realize that, is very very less. Most just believe that this is what life is all about.

Life doesn't have a proper definition. Each and every person gets their own opportunity to define it the way they want.
Read again, "The way they want" and not " The way they've been thrust into".

Always remember people may seem to cross your paths in life, but no one ever finishes it with you. To quote a great man, "It maybe too late to make a brand new beginning, but it's never late to make a brand new ENDING".
Lots of love, peace.
