Real.
In today's world, more and more people have started to call themselves, realists. I agree, it's important to be real and be ready to embrace everything that is going to be thrown at us.
Hello all, I'm the Earthian.
But sometimes, many times, in the name of being real, we are being negative. We always anticipate or try to anticipate the worst case scenario and always think about that and only that. It's almost like we want the worst to happen, just to satisfy our imagination and rub it in people's faces that we anticipated it and that they should have listened to us.
Most realists do have an object oriented mindset, as for as I've seen. They usually tend to be serious and persuasive, from what I've observed. They just avoid looking at the good things that can happen around, just to make sure that their paranoia or fear is justified.
Let's face it though, no matter how real we are, how smart we are at anticipating things, nine times out of ten we are never really sure of what will happen. Even the realists, deep inside want the good things to happen, but because they've trained themselves to be real, they just can't risk being positive. All I can say is that we don't have to kill our own hopes in order to protect ourselves from getting hurt.
And, please don't confuse hope with expectations. Because they really are two very different things.
Lots of love, peace.
