Moral code.
One of the few things about humans is that they tend to lose their moral code easily, if they have one in the first place. They don't always mean to, but it always sort of happens.
Hello all, I'm the Earthian!
Like I've told before, us humans are simple. We (most of us) always put pleasure above anything else, which essentially means that we go for things that promise pleasure, no matter what you have to sacrifice. Your own self discipline is what usually is the cost and you don't mind selling it.
Think about it. Why do we need a moral code? Why do we have to carry ourselves with pride and honour? We don't have to, but we all know it's always good to have a good code of conduct.
Not only does our respect for others increase when we treat each other the right way, our respect for ourselves will increase too.
Needless to say, respect for us, from the society, increases too.
Physically there is no difference between a person with no moral code and one with a moral code, but you'll know who's good and who's not within minutes of talking to them.
It's like the subtle difference between diamond and coal. Both are carbon, but one is burnt, used as a fuel and thrown away and the other is, well, precious.
The reason I'm saying this is, in today's world, with the internet being the biggest platform, it's so easy to hide behind computers and behind fake identities and names and do whatever the hell we want to, without ever being caught. None will actually know about your actions, provided you're "internet smart". But you, as a human being, should know what you're doing and if you're doing the right thing. If hurting someone, while being a chameleon to become internet famous is your goal, then my friend, I've got nothing to do with you. It's practically cowardly.
Sad to know, being human has become so hard these days.
Lots of love, peace.
